Updated Land Use Certificate Application

Effective January 1, 2026, the Backus Township Land Use Application form is no longer the carbonless triplicate form. You can now download and print the application from this website. The form will still require a "wet ink" signature. The form and fee will still need to be delivered to the township (mail or drop off).

As a reminder, "No building, structure, or sign shall be erected, altered, or moved unless a Zoning Permit shall have been first issued for such work." - Backus Township Zoning Ordinance, Section 16.02.A.1
